Counting the days without measurable rain

I am happy with 5 days now without rain. Aug was wet with 13.25" and so far in Sept have recorded 4.13". The garden still has damp soil and should make weeding easy this weekend.
 
8 days and counting. The significant rain chances keep getting pushed back in the forecast. September hasn't been good for rain around here in several years now. It should not be included in what's considered the rainy season any more.
 
Been dragging the hose around for three days now. Got 1/4" of rain around 9:00 am, understory crotons didn't even get the mulch damp. Crotons that did get rain are already drooping by 2:00 pm. Grass is even looking parched in areas after the rain. I can deal with it if the humidity stays high coupled with cloudy skies in the afternoon. :eek:

11 days nothing Ray? :( That majorly bites the big one. :mad: Maybe you need to step up the installation of the micro irrigatioin system date? :confused:
 
A good storm overhead now.

The hose got pulled around the Moose Land for an hour until it got too dark. Went to Publix 1.3 miles from the house. Came out, everything in the parking lot was soaked by a passing shower. Went back to the Moose Land .... no rain there. :(
