This is what I have as Daisy Ortega. Some have maintained that they are the same variety. I just don't see it?

There probably is a Daisy Ortega, but all the ones I have were identified as William Craig. There was another thread about this variety and I think all the plants turned out to be Willy not Daisy. Here are two shots of one of mine. Notice the different leaves on the left. Came from the same trunk of the mother plant. The first two shots were taken in June 2005. The third picture, same plant, was shot today.

Probably so. You'll need a few more generations of leaves to be certain, but they all look like William Craig to me.

I will admit that i am more than confused with these crotons here. All are absolutely beautiful and should be grown in anybody's garden !!!

The first two photos are what I have recently planted as William Craig. The souce was Judy Glock, obtained at the Holiday Social auction she hosted in early December. :)

The next two photos are of my Daisy Ortega planted in mid March. The source was from the Searle Brothers Nursery Fall Extravaganza.

Both cultivars have exceptional brillant coloring. William Craig appears to have a more robust leaves than Daisy Ortega in my opinion. They also seem simular to the images found in Dr. Frank Brown's book
