Dean, You see right as it is a deep green. I checked the records I have for this one and it is from Kiwi.I agree - and from what I can see, that is a nice deep green as well.
I might have to dig up some patience somewhere and start sprouting some seedlings of my own.
That may be my fav of your seedlings so far.View attachment 26942
Dean, Here is another seedling that had spent the first 2 years of its life as a black leaf Ti. Reminds me of a Dr Brown Cordyline.
A few more shots of the Xerox seedling for you guys. That may be my fav of your seedlings so far.
A nice looking "flop" IMO. Pin-stripe edging.... everything doesn't have to be knock-out patterns and colors. Something can be said for the subdued chic. Here is another Kiwi seedling that looks to be a flop.
Dean, I was using the word "flop" more as a leaf description. I also like the look of the plant overall.A nice looking "flop" IMO. Pin-stripe edging.... everything doesn't have to be knock-out patterns and colors. Something can be said for the subdued chic.
I guess I will refer to that one as Floppy Chic in the future.Yep, I like it even more on a second look.
You win!How 'bout Floppy McChic
Thanks Ken, but I will set the record straight. Not all look great as a great number of seedlings are not photo worthy. The funny thing that I have noticed is that a lot of the seedlings that had shown color when very small ended up not much to look at a couple years later. What I need to do now is start throwing out the no thrill looking plants. I just keep giving them one more chance and every now and then I see a sign of potential. All your seedlings look just great!
Dean, I have been thinking " ScotTi"I think you need a name change to - Cordyline King.
You "out cleavered" me by a long shot. Playful
Dean, I have been thinking " ScotTi"
Dean, Go ahead and change it to "ScotTi" when you get the chance. You "out cleavered" me by a long shot. Playful
If I do, you will have to use that to log in. So let me know you have read this, and then next time your login is rejected you will have to use ScotTi from then on.Dean, Go ahead and change it to "ScotTi" when you get the chance.
