[Crazy for Crotons]

This old variety is described in Dr. Brown's first book and the attached first Croton Society website photo proves it exists somewhere. I believe Bob Alonzo told me this is a Polychrome crossed with something else and introduced by Al Cutler. This is one of those you never hear mentioned much.

It could still be out there, planted in someone's garden, but the owner having not a clue to it's name and value it deserves. I personally never have seen it or know of one's existance. I hope it's not lost.

Even if you knew, there's no guarantee that if you made the cross again you would end up with the same seedling/plant. Right?
