I Live in New Port Richey FL, just 20 mins north of Clearwater. Anyway, besides being a begonia specialist and having a side business in them with other tropicals, I always look out for something different to raise. It can stay potted as I have 1200sq ft shadehouses and one greenhouse (its part of the shadehouse that becomes a lightly heated greenhouse Nov-March 1st). Any good websites for something different? I am sure I have perused the usuals. eBay is good, but the searching parameters are sometimes tiresome. There are few in Tampa Bay who grow exotics - orchids, tropicals, anthuriums,begonias,philo,aroids,etc- even tissue cultures I can do. Just looking for a few new outlets. Any help? I get to Palm Beach in June (I do their begonia society's program every year, 12 now) but my stays are often short.

Oh yeah,I teach middle school so that darn job interferes with my schedule!

Sounds like you should look up Marie Nock or Jeff Searle on this forum. They are most active on the croton forum & growers. Check out the auction site on tropiflora.com too. You will find most of us on this site are diversified collectors of tropicals. If you are interested in hoyas, an old friend here locally in St. Pete is a great source for some rare plants.

Check out the Spring, Summer and Fall plant sales at USF. Always lots of exotics.

Check out the auction site on tropiflora.com too.
I think Bren might have meant the "auction site on tropiscape.com" since I don't think tropiflora has an auction. It is brand new, but the idea is to provide just the service you are asking about, and all the people above are more than welcome to list any of their plants there - free.
