I have the Diane growing in filtered sun with a shot of full sun as it sets to the west.

Here is a Diane that stays shaded until around 1:00 pm. It's on the west side of house and gets some severe sun in the afternoon. This is the largest leaf on the plant measuring 15 inches, 19 1/2 inches including the petiole. The usual leaf size is about 12-13 inches in length. :) Photo by my son James.

Scott - you need to apply the Judy Glock juicing technique.

Scott,

Your plant looks really nice, it looks like it's getting just the right amount of sun. And Ron, not too shabby of a plant too. This cultivar makes a great landscape plant as well because of it's fast rate of growth and it's enormous size of leaf.

Here is a Sybil Griffin with a 17 inch long leaf. Photo by my son James. Judy Juicing is a possibility.
