Ray,

I can't say I've ever seen that one before. I really like the leaf shape. I can't really tell, but are the older leaves mostly green in color?

Would you happen to know it's origin?

Jeff,

This one came from a home in Venice, Fl back in 2005. Phil and I stumbled across the plant accidentally. I thought maybe it was a seedling but then found another specimen about a mile from my parents house in north Tampa. With 2 specimens so far apart, it has to be a distributed variety from years ago. It greens out sometimes but for a yellow variety, it keeps very good color in more shady conditions.

Ray-

Yes. I recall that trip well. Cutting I had died. You were calling it a White Tapestry back then. Good to see it's growing well whatever name is eventually attached to it.

The color and splotching are identical to The Swan. Could this be a sport from that variety?

Ray,

What's going on with this unusual plant? Did it make it through the last artic blast? I hope you still have it growing.

It made it through like a champ. Bob saw it and mentioned the name Long Leaf Yellow but wasn't realy sure.

Ray - How about an updated photo of "Long Leaf Yellow" or is it Quirko?

You should share a cutting or two so that if your plant dies, this one may be gone too. :p
