This was a Ti log gift I received today. It is massive!

I looked at the pic before I read anything and thought you had a big palm trunk with which to carve a tiki - until the tape measurement sunk in. It could pass for a palm trunk if you didn't have any scale.

Dean, You should see all the growth sprouts that this log is now pushing out. It looks like a sprout at almost every leaf scar. I am amazed!

Those sprouts are equi-length from each other, and spiraling around perfectly!
What kind of Ti is that? i don't recall my Ti plants doing that

and based on the first picture, that cane must be super tall, or you have it in a container?
did you soak in kelp or alternatives? wrapped in a plastic baggie?

and someone loves you..they wrote "TOP" on your cane :)

The cane was 12" long placed 2" in soil in a 1 gallon pot after soaking bottom of log in plain water for 2 days. This is a giant green type of Ti.
