Vintage Croton? Can anyone ID???

I found this very mature croton aside a building that was perhaps built in the 1950s. It's on the northside, so never in direct sun. By the thickness of the trunk, I would suspect it was either original or planted sometime in the 1960's.

Can anyone ID it?

Yes, Bonita is a scarce one. However, the pics look more like an 'Ugly' - an un-named variety that is VERY variable in leaf color and patterns and can easily 'black out' at times then returnf with a big blast of color. Will post some pics later.
