One float in the 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade featrured a large dragon with scales of croton leaves. Did anyone happen to catch the name of the sponsoring organization? The TV announcers commented quite favorably on how unusual the use of croton leaves was. The leaves looked like Petra.

Stay warm!

I saw that, actually my son was watching the parade and noticed it and called me in to look at it. Cool idea! Sorry, I didn't catch the sponsor.

Phil, The sponser of the float "Taiwan's Guardian" was China Airlines.

We went to a Tahitian ceremony/dance contest here recently and many of the dancers had some really cool head decorations (don't know what they are called) that were meticulously woven with crotons and a few other flowers. I was really bummed I had forgotten my camera. You Crotonheads would have really liked to have seen them.

Next time I'll have my camera. :)
