Cycas taitungensis (aka Emperor Sago and Prince Sago) had a nice growth spurt adding 14" of trunk between his leaf flush.

How are you doing with the Asian Scale in your neck of the woods?

Dean, With the use of coffee grounds, Orthene and the Bayer 3-in-1 all is clear for me. With the Sagos all but vanished from the landscapes around me these pests look to be less of a problem. This year the King Sagos appeared in the garden centers by the droves, so I expect to see a up swing of the scales return.
