Spectacular Pandanus monotheca

A spectacular Pandanus monotheca. A good friend gave me a 15 gal plant today, and at the rate this grows it will be this size in two years - really. Here is a pic of his plant.

Is that a Aloe barbarae in the background? On Hawaiian life I saw a large Dragon tree fronting a yard. Just not often you see the dry tropicals there.

Oh - sorry - I can't help you with the ID of the Aloe. I will be going back to this garden within the week. If I remember, I will ask.
