Good thing I'm not in a place that can grow succulents well. Or else, I would have another whole class of plants to try and learn.

You might be surprised Dean; you've got great draining soil there. Plus, doesn't Al in Kona have some good succulents?

Well Peter,

I have twice the rain as Al, and Al is mostly "open to the sky," without a lot of the forest shade I have. In addition, where I am is dewy every single night, to the point of dripping.

And besides, now that you made me interested in all those cool tropical trees, my 3 acres will be full before long.

Truth is, I don't need to start on another "plant group." I'll visit Al when I get the urge. "So many species, so little time (and land)"
