    I have a true appreciation for hibiscus. Perhaps when I get to the point where the garden doesn't need so much attention I will do more potted plants. Our nematodes attack them in ground. I killed many at the last house :)

    This one is Phil's if he deems it worthy. Now that a plumeria above it defoliated, it's getting good sun & pinking up. It reminds me of some of the poinsettias I am seeing in the stores.

    My plant has never looked like any of the wiki pics. It never shows pink like that or all red. Heavy orange. It's been moved around plenty throughout the years too. Here is a pic from just now. Its behind the triangle. I've never trimmed it. Grows very uniform

    I've had this for about 6 yrs. I asked yrs ago if anyone knew it's ID to no avail. It's about 6ft now & grows in a very rounded shape.

    Well, I finally have my first newborn at the new house. I suspect I may have weeded previous sprouts or the dogs squashed them. I was happy to find this after spending the day spraying organicide for scale. My neighbors were traveling for turkey day so I didn't feel bad about the fishy smell...
