    Anyone else have these seedlings?

Oh, and as far as I'm concerned you can name any seedling you have anything you want as long as its a name not already taken. I would just wait until it has matured enough to be "worthy" of a name.

    Anyone else have these seedlings?

Ricky...Nobody has those seedlings but you. There may be similar looking ones out there but they are all different. Genetically anyway. Chris

How rare is Royal Horsegaurd??I saw a big one today and it was quite special!!

Here's a pic. Got it from Jeff and it appears to be a fairly fast grower. I think the colors are redder and more blotched the Mrs Snyders.

    Help

Here Anna. should be full size. I use Paint. If you have windows probably every version has it in accessories in the start menu. You can resize too large photos or just about anything else. Chris

    seedlings I breed with

This is one of my favorites. It's Chilipan By Jungle Queen. The colors don't show well here and it's just coming back from an airlayering. Never the less it has babies coming. There are more pics of it in thread "change for the worse?" .

    seedlings I breed with

This is one that is a cross of Sybil Griffin and Irene kingsley. Leaves can be quite large and better shape than this. It's in a pot and needs to be in the ground. I have many seedlings from different crosses coming from it. That's Richard Krukonis? to the left and Daybreak below.

    tall & leggy

Again you can see the water discoloration and apparently it was out of range of the mist system as it did dry out some.

    tall & leggy

This I could name tall & leggy because that's what it is. I don't really like it's habit at all. What is interesting about it is that it is a cross between Pops Yard and Polychrome. A yellow. I only had 3 seedlings I kept and the other 2 were colorful but refuse to grow. Go figure.

    bakers dozen

Hey Jerry...I've got many more seedlings and no place to put them. I hate to have to cull them but that's what I have to do. I keep those that show early promise. And the ones that are so slow, unless they're the only ones with color, have to go. I have a few that showed great potential that...

    bakers dozen

I have a batch of seedlings about 2 1/2 yrs old I thought I'd call bakers dozen. There are 15 plants here and I've given a couple away. The parents are a cross I made (jungle queen by chili pan) x eleanor fischler. They have a remarkable resemblance to one another and are coloring up nicely...

    Croton scale - what's working

Hey all. My coffee neem organocide seems to work for an extended period of time. It's been about 2 1/2 months since my last spraying. I'm seeing some scale show up and I'm just waiting for a cooler rainy kind of evening to spray as It could have phytotoxic effects on a hot sunny day. All my...

    Some new crotons

Ray, got that one from Henry Coppingers collection back in the 70's. I never got a name for it so I just called it like I saw it. It's definitely a large leaf. Chris
