Genetic Instability

Attached are some pics of a few crotons in the yard showing some unusual growth patterns.
First is a Leopardia reverting back to a Nestor. I'd show a pic of Nestor sporting a Leopardia but the rains came.
Second is some commercial variety with semi-oak leaves sporting some medium size oval leaves.
Then we have a Glen Roof doing something wonky.
Fi nally a seedling under the Glen Roof.

It's so interesting, Phil. Especially how different the sports are. I"ve been creating seedlings the last year and a half or so and I'm always amazed at how incredibly different the seedlings can be from either parent. I love the surprises. In a year or less I may post some of my babies that I'm proud of. Thanks for posting. I've missed your posts.

Phil, some of these things are just getting figured out. Leopardia is a good one. Leopardia sports nestor. Nestor sports yellow nestor. Yellow nestor sports fishbone. So leopardia and fishbone are the same. Wut?
