Dypsis heteromorpha

As far as I'm concern, the jury still is out on this one. I'm growing these here in south Florida, the same palm as everyone else is, but this palm not only looks good here in our climates, it grows well, just slow growing. The issue I have is, this palm is documented growing at elevations starting at 4,000' and higher. Not exactly a similar climate we have here. Were all going to have to wait until they start flowering to give their true identity.

Anyone know if JD Andersons Heteromorpha in HI is flowering yet? Any updated photos? Mine is doing great in coastal SoCal. Here is a pic from the end of last summer.

2 out of 3 of mine are really starting to grow at a noticeable pace. The third one is lagging behind. But all 3 look good in full, inland sun. The recurved leaflets on these are really nice. All of mine are heavy suckerers from an early age, which is different from how Jerry's plant started. His had clear trunk w/ no suckers last I saw. I wonder if it has suckers now.
