This in my opinion is the best ti plant for Southern California. It always looks good and is great as a backdrop for other plants. I have quite a few of them. My largest is probably 12 ft. or so. I probably need to cut it back and root the cane cuttings. I've noticed that mine never seem to send out any branches. I have a friend who cut his down and 4 shoots came out. They all ended up dying except one. I wonder if that is a trait with this cultivar?
