    Mighty Fine photos of some very nice palms Dean thanks for sharing. Dean the Dypsis sp Red mealy bug looks like what I have as Dypsis malcomberi. Do you think that it may be the same plant? Does Jeff remember what his larger D malcomberi looked like as juviniles?. Its kinda a long question but...

    These photos were from a while back, not flowers but fruiting palms. The first is a Bismarkia, second is a Areca vestiaria third is an Adonidia merrilii & last is a Nypa Fruticans.

    Hello Dean This is a bit late but I must say that this a very informative & well set out forum. I will have a go at posting a couple of photos while i'm at it. Here goes First one is a young Dypsis pilulifera "orange crush". Seconnd is an Areca vestiaria & third is a Licuala dasyantha.

    Help with Dypsis ID

    I dont believe that this palm is D baronii the inflorescence is not like baronii & is very much like D lutescens. Thats my best guess. Matt.
