    A Big Leaf Anthurium

Don't know why I haven't seen this thread before. Dean, I think the anthurium in the first post is A. rugulosum x A. waroqueanum. I know this cross is available on the Big Island and is an easy grower compared to straight rugulosum or to corrugatum.

    Wiki photo entries 2017

I have in my notes that this was originally called Finished, a Rudy Bachman hybrid and his last one. When someone started calling it Pride of Naples they knew it had another name but didn't know what it was.

    Crotons in New Guinea

We attended a lecture Monday evening given by Dr. Chad Husby of FTBG. Last Nov. he was with a group that retraced part of an exploration by Dr. David Fairchild in the early 1940s through Indonesia. At one tiny village on a remote island in the Spice Islands, Chad showed photos of many crotons...

    Plant Creations 1 or 2?

Thanks Phil. Plant Creations is likely where we got our original plant but I don't think they had a name on it. I think I heard the name at one of the auctions years ago but I was never sure of the number.
