I've been noticing Dreadlocks around town looking really good this year. I kept driving by this one and finally stopped and got a picture. Is this a great year for Dreadlocks around the state or just the southern part of Miami -Dade County?
Lamar, I wonder if the name is Hoople Street? I got my original plant of Hoople Street from Keith and it was named after the street that Bob Alonso grew up on. It looks very similar to your plant.
Here's a link to an article on Xanthamonas on crotons which the spotting might be?

Just a reminder for everyone that the Spring Sale at Fairchild is being held this weekend, April 14-15. There will be many rare and unusual plants including crotons. Jose will be there and so will we. Hope you can make it!
Thanks to Mike W., the organizer, Mike H. the host, Jeff the auctioneer, Greg and DeDe the tour guides, and to all who brought crotons and food. It was so good to be with all of you. Thanks for a wonderful day of "croton fun"!
Phil, I don't think this is Earl of Derby. Mark Hooten gave me an Earl of Derby at the Glock's gathering and it is a green and yellow. Look at the Veitch catalog and it will confirm the coloration. I'll try to get a photo up soon. I may have an extra that I can bring to the auction.
