    Jeff Chait Hybrids & Seedlings

Lamar, I don't have a lot of experience with this cultivar, so I'm not completely sure. I have one in pretty deep shade at the Audubon that has a Chilli Pan-ish habit to it, so you could be spot on. Might be a candidate for multiple plants in one space to give it a fuller look. Marie, what has...

    Jeff Chait Hybrids & Seedlings

This is Sailors Delight. Marie Nock named this Chait hybrid with Jeff's permission. Tons of pink in this one.

    Kentiopsis pyriformis?

I concur with Dean. I too, think it is K. oliviformis. I'm fairly certain you would remember acquiring K. pyriformis due to its general lack of availability and higher price. Any vendor would have clearly pointed out the differences. That (K. oliviformis) will be a great palm for your...

    Bob Sabourne Hybrid

Randy, I'm a little confused. Just to clarify things, are you saying that the croton pictured in post #20 that Keith won in the auction came from you and is a Bob Sabourne Hybrid?

    Tali/October Surprise. Same Plant?

Phil, thank you very much for your input. Is there anyway to find out where his plant is sourced from? Not trying to be pushy, just very curious.

    Tali/October Surprise. Same Plant?

I'm trying to get some clarity on whether or not Tali and October Surprise are the same plant. I've heard some conflicting information, and since I don't have one of each plant, I'm hoping that others can help to clear this up. I got a October Surprise from the auction at Phil's last year. I...

Keith, can you please post a picture of the plant you got at the auction?

    Bob Sabourne Hybrid

Nobody could agree apparently. My first thought was either Tali or October Surprise. Someone else chimed in that is supposedly was not, and the plant was up for auction at that time, so there was no further discussion. Keith was lucky enough to get the winning bid. Keith, who brought the...

    Bob Sabourne Hybrid

Keith, I don't think you got this plant. The plant you got looked like either Tali or October Surprise to me, but I heard some people debating if it was actually either one of those too. From what I have heard, Tali is a Stan Wood seedling, and October Surprise is supposedly a West Coast plant...

    Bob Sabourne Hybrid

I got this plant from Randy sometime ago, and he warned me of its painfully slow growth habit. After seeing pictures of his plant though, I decided it would be worth the effort. It has sure taken its time, but it has definitely been rewarding having success with a challenging plant.
