    Favorite Croton Leaf Shape

I just voted for all of them except recurved leaf. Just the way it is for me. I can think of spectacular plants of all leaf shapes. Just couldn't pick one.

    Here is your rain...............................

I hope you have no losses and that the water has receded. I lived in Wellington for years and there was always a problem with drainage there. My son is still there and he said he's never seen it so bad. I assume you are in Loxahatchee or the Acreage. I know several people flooded out there...

    Where is the rain ???

It did rain, just about filled my wheel barrow. Didn't accurately measure it this time but I figure somewhere around 6 to 8 inches. Dried up nice today and it was good to see the sun.

    The Party's On!

Sorry guys. Looks like a storm a comin'. Got too many things to take care of. If only just to tuck them away somewhere. They say the rain here now is the first of it. If nothing else there will be tropical storm force winds here tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing everyone another time. Chris

    Princess Eugenia

I know Ray, if it's not Irene Kingsley/Satan it's William C/Daisy O. It might just be placement, and one day I'll grow both of them together, but it seems Daisy O has slightly smaller, redder leaves that are more blotched. William Craig seems larger and pinker with more entire color. Then...

Sergey, Halfway got the croton scale bad this year and is still struggling. I think it will come back fine but it's going to take time. I'll get pictures when it gets better. things happen!

    18 Naturally Occuring Stoplight Seeds

I didn't really have a nice picture 'till now. When these leaves harden up it appears there'll be a lot of color. And it seems it's gathering growing speed.

    18 Naturally Occuring Stoplight Seeds

It's starting to show its true colors. New flush on my first (second) air layer. I'm keeping this one. At least for now. Leaves aren't as long as they can get but are still growing.

What's wrong with my Glen Roof?

Ron, I just figured it out. You grew it! Glen Roof var Ginormous should be the new name. Then again maybe it's global warming.

    bimbo baby

That's Bimbo by this one. I got it at Mrs Peyton's yard and nobody has positively identified it. One of my favorites. Steve Nock said Peytons' Place. I like it.

    John Criswick

Every named croton deserves a place in the wiki. If it's your seedling then name it and put it in the wiki. Any croton that's given out needs a name if only to identify it "down the road". Actually, that sounds like a pretty good name.

    small leal Ralph Davis

Are you saying he should have thrown it away? It was part of his plantings. Maybe it was just a common seedling that grew after he was gone. Still I like it.

Oh, the point is, he didn't throw them all out or give them away.
