    My most promising seedling

Mike, I've had several I thought would be real winners but ended up being incredibly slow. It's like they could make nice table decorations. Still I hang on to them hoping they'll get a burst of growth. I've toyed with the idea of air layering them to see if they might grow faster with a...

    two seeds emerging

I would expect that to be the old flower spike acting like a stem and producing a new growth from it. It doesn't have the shape of a seedlings growth and appears to have the leaf shape of new growth. I've had that happen before.

    DORIS

Yeah, I remember when you got it. That oak leaf is one of my major breeders now. I think it's a cross between sybil griffin and irene kingsley. Leaves get quite large and I love the shape when it's well grown. Here's an older picture next to arthur howe and another seedling.

    DORIS

Here's a picture of mine with a couple more seedlings basically the same size. About a year ago a I had my pump loose prime while I was gone and the plants went without water for about a week. Several of my plants suffered, Doris was one of them. Lost about half its leaves and is now making a...

That's on my laptop. On my smasung galaxy when I click on any resolution the picture size remains the same. I found I can view more pics at 250 without having to scroll and if I click on one picture I can expand it by using my fingers with a screen swipe with virtually no loss of sharpness.

I like 250. It loads much quicker and I can virtually see all the pictures without having to scroll through a mass of large pics. Then I can choose which ever picture I want to enlarge. to 500.
