    Crotons from seeds. "Yellow Quirka" + "Nervia"

    Sergey, great hybrid, nice leaf shape. I asked my Russian friend at work about Siberia, the first thing he said was- its freezing cold there! Im amazed at how large your collection is, I would never have guessed anyone would be growing crotons in Siberia! Keep up the good work.

    Croton Tours....any planned for the summer?

    The west coast people were hit very hard by the cold this year. I have been bummed out and angry about it. You know you have the croton bug if you still grow crotons after a winter like this. If I didnt like them so much, I would not grow them anymore.

    with a week of cold and frost here in Bradenton, my plants under frost cloth did ok. I did not have enough to cover everything, so with the hard freeze sunday night thru monday morning, I have over 100 plants that are now mush. even plants that are under oaks that never get hurt, are now...

    Phil, it grows pretty fast for me. I got my plant from you, this year I got 3 or 4 air-layers off my plant, and I could still get cuttings off it now. I have my plant in more light than yours, maybe that is the trick. But by far it is the coolest plant I have gotten from you.
