I reached at least 27. With lots of damage to things normally never affected. However, zero frost. Strange one.
Normally my protection would be much better but I got caught off guard after uncovering everything too early.
I covered (not even tightly) the few Crotons I had...
29 forecast for here in Apopka record low. Been a few years since we had it this cold.
I uncovered everything a week too early. bummer.
The crotons are all in pots here cause I know this happens.
My bromeliads under oak with a frost cover should be fine.

Yeah I see lots of vendors, PalmIsland, etc. way south. Maybe one of these days. I did do such things for my Bromeliads.
Anybody in the central florida area with Croton for sale? I'm just started and I have a new area to populate so anybody with just several varieties would make me happy. I have Bromeliad for exchange if you are interested but not necessary.
