What is this?

This is a croton that Judy got years ago (10 years) in Ft. Myers. The plant in Ft. Myers died, but the plant in the Keys is doing well. We don't have a clue what this is. Folks what is this?

Interesting how Glock used miniture fake hands to make the leaves look like monsters.

I'll direct my question to Judy, due to Jim's fragile memory.:)

Judy, maybe you can give us a little history on this plant? It's certainly nice. Is it at your Key's house or in Ft Myers?

Jeff - if you show Jim a Coors Light it refreshes his memory, not unlike a Scooby Snack. LOL :p

Ray, we have a Louis Dupuy in the Keys and it is much more deeply lobed than the croton in the photo. Louis Dupuy also has more pink.

Judy,

According to you know who, give it 20 or 30 more years to see if someone can positively put an id on it, if not, because it's not in Frank Brown's Book, then put #81 on it and call it a day. BECAUSE...it's just another un-named hybrid.
