Ray, I thought I recall hearing that sometime ago, I have a P.Paintbrush. So what is the Croton in the Online Croton Reference under the name Peles Fire? It looks nothing like Picasso's Paintbrush but more like Zanzibar leaf shape. I like the look of that "Peles Fire".

Bren, I went looking for pics of my Zanzibar (RIP) from last year. I guess I never took any of it. I do remember I had a hard time with it. It would flush leaves and drop, flush and drop...and the cold finished it.
For our area, those really thin narrow leaf forms can be kept in a pot. Historically for me, those varieties tend to defoliate way before others and at temps several degrees above freezing. Just my two cents.
