Took this shot using my world famous Blackberry Bold on my way to work.
Croton located outside BP in front of the Queen's Park Savannah.

Cant seem to figure out what this one's called?? :confused:

Looks like what we call Buddy.
Are there any Royal palms (cabbage palms) left in the Savannah; some old picture post cards I have show a nice planting of them.
 
Close but not quite due to the slight shoulders on these leaves; still a nice croton.

Regrettably those six palms are no longer around (could not find them), but all is not lost, there is an area to the west of the Queen's Park Savannah with lots of these palms.

Also, by the two decomissioned sugar factories in central and south Trinidad there are access roads lined with old Royal Palms.... problem is no one looks after the trees, quite a few have died. These palms were planted in the 1930's when Tate and Lyle manufactured sugar in Trinidad I guess the ones growing in the savannah were older.
