Mammy and Petra after one winter and two summers in the SF bay area.

Outdoors 24/7. Petra had been 3 in one pot. 30f took it down to one left and it looked close to dying itself.
Mammy was a champ. A bit slow to re foliate but it is the SF bay area,so that it even does that is amazing.

It would be like finding that a big red trunked palm can grow in California. Or,Breadfruit. Like that.
Thanks Moose. Its outdoors all year in a pot. Its reliable. It and Plastic Pink sailed this winter. Plumeria obtusa? wow- very tender. Just the nights getting to the 40's last November caused it shed leaves. I'm hoping that was residual Hawaii tolerance (from where I ordered it) and it gets that this is the bay area.
