What would the best light conditions for growing Stoplight and Magnificent in ground? I have them growing in a full sun location and they do not look happy. They were in these locations last year, but had a Foxtail Palm for some sun filtering.

Here are two Stoplights. The first one (in the ground 6 years) gets morning sun and good irrigation, but it's on the east side of the garden at the end of a north-south wind tunnel between our house and our neighbor's. The second one (in the ground 3 years) gets midday sun and is on the north side of the house. Both are under considerable shade. The third picture is Duke of Windsor, a common sport off Stoplight, that's in deep shade on the south side of the garden. No direct sunlight. The last one is Magnificent, right next to the Duke of Windsor. I bought this from Loews last year and it survived the winter. But it only gets indirect sunlight and only at midday.

Here is the Stoplight. Notice the new leaves have fallen off from the growing tips. Could this be caused by to much sun?
