Nice stuff Toby. Princess Eugenia is a gorgeous plant but has given me fits. The last one Marie gave me is doing well but it comes indoors for even the briefest cold snap. It makes the list of top 5 wimpiest crotons for cold tolerance.
 
I posted some last year in a great thread, I think it was called "A few from the yard- add your own". Your Costa Rica pictures remind me of a trip we did to the Osa, and it's always nice to see the different ways people use this decorative plant.
