The Aroid Society is hosting a Show and Sale at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden this coming weekend. Lots of fabulous aroids and other strange tropical beauties await you to see and/or buy. Companion plants galore. The Moose will be there Saturday morning!!! :D

MooseMan,

Please take your camera. I have seen some pics of this sale before. Aroids come in a close second to palms in my plant interest hierarchy. They have some really nice ones available at those sales.

And BTW - check your PMs.

When you attend the Members day Sale, you need to hit Moose Land on your way back to the west coast. I am still holding those crotons for you. I have two C.I. Craigin for you to chose from, the other is for me. I am giving you first choice ...

Let me know. :)

Ron,

I'd love to be able to attend this but will be at Fairchild in a few weeks for the members day sale. I've become a Philodendron fanatic. Like Dean said, please take your camera.

Look who the Moose found in the show area, Chris, Jackie and Marie . What are they plotting ...

Ran into alot of plant people I had not seen in a long time. Much yaking ensued and then the show area got real crowded. Went back this am to get some shots and the camera was not cooperating. :p Marie Nock said she will provide a link later that should be better than anything I would have posted.

Here are links to the pictures that have been posted so far:

All photos were taken by Lester Kallus.

Marie - thank you for the links. :) You are the only person here that confirm I was really having camera issues. Like I had predicted, these photos are way better than anything I would have posted.

Hey Dean, also look at Lester's other albums going back to 2008. This should keep you occupied with your aroid fetish. LOL :D

Marie - please relay to Lester that his photos were well received and appreciated here!!!

Ron.
