This Christian's Landscape was growing in some pretty heavy shade. Looking less than first rate, it was transplanted to a sunnier location in the beginning of Summer. When dug up, palm roots had entangled its root mass. The majority of the roots were victimized and no soil came with the translocation. There was a very big concern about its survivability. A Petra was yoked out and replaced by this croton. The shock of the transplant caused a 95% defoliation.
These photos were taken around midnight this morning. I have to admit that it has rejuvinated itself better than I had ever imagined.
