Here is the base of my Bismarckia nobllis that reminds me of an elephant's foot. It was planted 17 years ago and now has 30+ feet of clear trunk. The loppers are for scale, they measure 33.5 inches.

Here is the base of my Bismarckia nobllis that reminds me of an elephant's foot. It was planted 17 years ago and now has 30+ feet of clear trunk. The loppers are for scale, they measure 33.5 inches.

A lot of open space for other plants. Let me see, how about some hibiscus, philodendrons, maybe some ground orchids?
