A Few Around the Yard.....add your own

Miami and a close-up of Miami where you can clearly see the red veins and red underside to the leaf.

An un-named and un-numbered Davis hybrid. I've been calling this Davis 14 but I don't think there were that many.

I'm pretty sure this is Bravo. But it gets great pink color. Second picture is a close-up of the leaves.

New growth on Bogorienses. This was bare limbs three months ago.

No I can't say for sure. I think the discussion on this forum left me more confused. Phil and I got that plant from the Blaumans several years ago as Dr. Alexander. The plant above is in full sun. I should have a couple to trade later this summer.

agreed, thanks, I'm admiring my photography of crotons! Pretty much all mine survived this past winter with very little leaf drop. Nice photo thread. I think I'll add some more later this weekend.

Here is an updated photo of Lemon and Lime. It is the same plant as seen in post #5. It has proved to be my fastest grower so far. Even faster than Purity. Over 7 ft. tall now and leggy. It gets full sun most of the day. Has suffered some sunburn when we were hitting the 90's with little cloud cover.

Jeff in post #15 picture #2, you identified that croton as an unknown. Has that croton been ID'd since you posted the photo more than a year ago ?

Central Floridave in post #26 Picture #1, your Yellow Petra looks superb ! Very nice :)

Ricky - in post #41 picture #4 your Prince Phillip looks perfect. It is the best looking one I have seen.

Lemon & Lime update: An air layer was taken and made it to the croton soire at Phil's. I believe that is is now living in Scott Land. :) Since the first removed air layer stem flushed out new growth very nicely, a second large air layer was made and potted up two weeks ago. This cultivar has some very large leaves, is prominently lobed and blushes red on the leaf underside. It has also been a fast grower for me. With all these positives attributes, I am curious as to why it is not prominently found in more gardens?

Thanks to all who posted their photos in this thread. Much croton blingage at its best here!

Ron, The Robert Lavolis you sent to the auction is now living in Scott Land. Do not know who got the Lemon & Lime. BTW The Robert Lavolis is doing great at this time, but ask me in the spring.
