    Landscaping with Bromeliads

After adding the sedum. A better angle. The bromeliads used here are Alcantarea imperialis, Neo. Jeffery Block, Neo. Martin, and Neo. Candy Apple. They can all handle hours of direct sun if properly adapted to it.

Specialty Cordyline Shops near Fort Myers?

Hi everyone. I'm looking to find some of these more unusual hybrids. The large nurseries I go to usually only have the common red sister, auntie lou, etc.... I was wondering if anyone knew of a specialty shop in the fort myers naples area that I could score some cool cordylines. Preferably...

    Bromeliads as container plants

Bromeliads are a perfect container plant. Provided you use a specialized soil mix, various species can be used to match whatever lighting conditions the container is in, from full shade to full sun. They have their own water tanks and are drought tolerant. Unlike most tropical plants they do...

    Polychrome

Is this because it's not a hardy grower? Or because nurseries focus on sun plants more? Oh I saw the thread about that. What are the details? Do I need an official invite?

Nurseries in south florida that carry unusual croton varieties? i.e. polychrome

Yeah I'm already addicted to bromeliads and bamboo, and I'm ready to add cordylines and crotons to my list of vices. I'm on the gulf coast actually, so there's a bit less action over here but I could see making the trip for a truckload of plants on occasion.

Nurseries in south florida that carry unusual croton varieties? i.e. polychrome

Hi everyone. I'm pretty new to south florida, only been here a year. I run a small bromeliad nursery out of my backyard and I'm getting really into crotons recently. I have a large landscaping job I was hired for recently because of my experience with bromeliads. I'd like to accent some areas...

    Polychrome

I'm actually looking for polychrome. I can't find any nurseries that have it. Anyone have any leads on tracking this one down? I probably need at least 20 plants.
